ALTADENA >> Detectives are seeking a man who struck his roommate in the head with a machete at an Altadena home on Wednesday, officials said.
The attack took place about 11:10 a.m. in the 1500 block East Altadena Drive, Los Angeles County sheriff's Lt. Daniel Stanley said.
Deputies responding to a report of a "disturbance" at the home encountered a 34-year-old woman bleeding from the head after being struck with a machete, Stanley said.
