An officer-involved shooting involving the California Highway Patrol and a downed suspect occurred Tuesday morning on the streets of downtown Los Angeles, authorities said.
The shooting, in which one suspect was listed as "down" was reported at 6:08 a.m. Tuesday at Third Street south of Spring Street, said CHP Officer Christian Cracraft.
