The Los Angeles Police Department has gone on tactical alert after a power outage at one of its two dispatch centers Friday forced officials to route dispatch calls to its other communications center, located in the San Fernando Valley.
The power outage was reported at 11:20 a.m. Friday, Officer Sal Ramirez with the LAPD confirmed.
