Pasadena hires company to dole out fees for false alarms reported to fire department

PASADENA >> The Pasadena Fire Department is hiring an outside company to manage fees for false alarms reported to the city.

The company, Public Safety Corp., a technology and services company focused on state and local government public safety projects and programs, will use its own alarm monitoring service and software, CryWolf, to track and bill false alarms, officials said in a statement.
