EL MONTE - A teen was in custody Friday after he led El Monte police on a short chase in a stolen vehicle that ended in La Puente, police said.
An officer began following the vehicle and attempted to conduct a stop for a traffic violation around 10 p.m. Thursday in El Monte but the teenager did not stop and a short chase ensued, said Corp.
