SOUTH EL MONTE >> A resident was shot in the jaw by a man who asked him where he was from on Thursday night.
The shooting broke out in the 2300 block of Continental Avenue at 8:25 p.m.
A 23-year-old South El Monte man was standing outside when a white, four-door sedan stopped in front of the location, said Lt.
