A gunman who fired inside a McDonald's restaurant near Hollywood Burbank Airport was shot by Burbank Police Department officers early Friday before he fatally shot himself.
The man, identified as Tennessee resident Lee Edward Denney, 29, died at a hospital shortly after 2 a.m., according to police and Los Angeles County coroner's Assistant Chief Ed Winter.
