A Rosemead gang member will be spending the next 50 years in prison for shooting and killing a San Gabrielino High School student 11 years ago in a fatal case of mistaken identity.
Authorities said the assailants thought 17-year-old Ryan Dasalla of Rosemead belonged to a tagging crew involved in the beating of their younger brother, David, the night before.
