LOS ANGELES -- A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle and killed today in the Lincoln Heights area.
Paramedics sent to the 300 block of West Avenue 26 about 1:35 a.m. pronounced the person dead at the scene, said Margaret Stewart of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
He was identified as Geovanni Cali, 22, of Los Angeles, said coroner's Assistant Chief Ed Winter.
