SOUTH EL MONTE - A man in a stolen car ran from a deputy but was found later hiding in a house Monday.
A deputy in the Sheriff's Parks Bureau got a hit on a stolen car at Bunker Avenue and Broadmead Street around 10:40 a.m. Parks Bureau Lt. John Stanley said the deputy had a license plate reader.
