SIERRA MADRE >> Police believe a man was drunk and under the influence of drugs when he allegedly hit a car, attacked a pedestrian, punched a passenger in another car then tried to carjack that sedan over the weekend.
The sheriff's bomb squad was also called in after what looked like an "improvised explosive device" was discovered in the man's backpack.
